India typically experiences a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions throughout the year in different parts. In winter, the temperatures drop to sub-zero degrees in the hilly regions including Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim among others. In summer, temperatures in the plains reach as high as 45-50 degrees. In the coastal regions including southern states, the temperature remains roughly between 15-30 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
