Ingredients For Pizza Base

- Sweet potato (boiled, mashed) – 1 large
- Oats flour/Almond flour – 2-3 tbsp
- Salt – as per taste
- ¼ tsp of black pepper
- Oregano/Italian seasoning – ½ tsp

Ingredients For Toppings

- Pizza sauce – 2 tbsp
- Mozzarella cheese – ¼ cup (or any cheese)
- Onion – sliced
- Capsicum/Bell peppers – sliced
- Sweet corn/Olives – optional
- Chilli flakes, oregano – as per taste

How To Prepare The Base Of Sweet Potato Oats Tawa Pizza: 

1. Boil a medium-sized sweet potato very well and mash it well.

2. Add oat flour and salt to the dough.

3. Knead it well to make a soft dough.

4. Grease a non-stick pan, keep the dough ball on it, and flatten it into a pizza shape using your fingers.

5. Roast it well on a low flame until it’s golden in colour from both sides (4-5 minutes on one side and 2-3 minutes on the other).

6. Once the base is ready, add your favourite topping to it.

-Pizza Sauce
-Paneer Cubes and Broccoli (High Protein Diet)
-Sweet Corn and Peri Peri Masala
-Finally, add some mozzarella cheese.

7. Once you have added all the toppings and cheese, cover it well with a lid.

8. Make the flame very low so that the base does not burn and the cheese melts well from inside.

9. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts like butter.

10. If the cheese is not melting well, add a few drops of water on the edges of the pan (not on the pizza) and cover it well. The cheese will melt well.

11. That’s it! Once the cheese melts and the base turns crisp, carefully take it out and enjoy it hot.
