Sitaare Zameen Par OTT Release Confirmed: Where To Watch Aamir Khan's Film After Pay-Per-View Model?

Sitaare Zameen Par OTT Release:  Sitaare Zameen Par will finally be available on a streaming service after months of anticipation following its theatrical run. Aamir Khan's sports drama will soon be available on over-the-top platforms. It took over nine months for Sitaare Zameen Par, which was directed by RS Prasanna, to make its OTT premiere after it debuted in theatres on June 20.

It's interesting to note that Aamir Khan had originally said that Sitaare Zameen Par would not be available on OTT platforms when it was first shown in theatres. Rather, the film was subsequently made available to viewers in India and a number of other countries on YouTube using a pay-per-view mechanism.

Additionally, Sitaare Zameen Par is the first Hindi theatrical film to debut on Sony LIV, marking a significant milestone for the platform and adding a beloved crowd-pleaser to its expanding content library.

Sitaare Zamee Par Budget And Box Office Report

Sitaare Zameen Par is fundamentally a celebration of friendship, resiliency, and the small pleasures that give life purpose. Aamir Khan-starrer, which had a stated budget of Rs 122 crore, did well at the box office and made over Rs 266.49 crore globally. The movie turned out to be his highest-grossing endeavour since Dangal (2016).

Sitaare Zameen Par centres on Gulshan Arora, a basketball coach whose life unexpectedly changes as he is forced to perform community service due to a drunk driving incident. He is tasked with preparing a group of neurodivergent basketball players for a competition as part of his sentence. As Gulshan learns about the team's tenacity, enthusiasm, and remarkable view on life, what starts as a reluctant duty quickly turns into a profoundly personal adventure. Ultimately, he realises that they become his greatest teachers.

In case you didn't know, Sitaare Zameen Par is an official adaptation of the highly regarded Spanish film Champions, which tells a similar tale of a disgraced coach managing a group of athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, Ashish Pendse, Aroush Datta, Aayush Bhansali, Rishi Shahani, Gopikrishnan K Varma, Rishabh Jain, Vedant Sharma, Simran Mangeshkar, Samvit Desai, and Naman Misra are among the cast members of Sitaare Zameen Par.
