Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan has come into focus after a fresh statement by the Badri-Kedar Temple Committee on new entry guidelines. The actress, known for her regular visits to Kedarnath Temple and Badrinath Temple, is now being discussed in light of these newly introduced rules.
New Rule For Kedarnath Temple Visits
Chairman Hemant Dwivedi stated on 17 March 2026 that non-Hindu devotees will now need to submit an affidavit before offering prayers at the temples. The devotee will have to prove that he or she believes in Sanatan Dharma. This rule will be applicable to all individuals, including celebrities. Permission will be granted after submitting the affidavit.

Talking about Sara Ali Khan, Dwivedi told the media, “If Sara Ali Khan expresses her devotion towards Sanatan Dharma and submits an affidavit, we will allow her to offer prayers.” This statement is in focus as Sara Ali Khan is known for her frequent visits to the Kedarnath temple.
