Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 Gets A Certificate From CBFC, Runtime Nears 4 Hours

The much-awaited sequel of the movie, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is all set to hit the theatres soon. Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, the film has now obtained certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Along with the certification, the makers have also announced the final runtime of the movie, which will give the audience a fair idea of what to expect from the spy thriller.

Just a few days before the release of the movie, Dhurandhar: The Revenge was given an A certificate by the CBFC on Tuesday. This is an indicator that the movie is for adult viewing only, as it is a very intense movie. The movie is also a long one, as it runs for 3 hours, 49 minutes and 6 seconds. 

Dhurandhar 2 Release Date And Advance Bookings

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is set for a worldwide release in theatres on March 19, 2026. Preview shows were scheduled for the day before, allowing fans to catch a glimpse of the film before its release. The advance bookings of the film began in India on March 14, which gained momentum soon after.

Strong Response In Overseas Markets

The film has also seen good results in terms of international bookings. It has been reported that the film’s premiere booking in the US has crossed USD 982,374 (Rs 9.07 crore). The movie has been screened at 678 locations, showing more than 1,600 shows, selling more than 61,000 tickets.

The sequel sees Ranveer Singh returning as Indian spy Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi. The film features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. The story continues the high-stakes espionage journey introduced in the first part, focusing on intense action and global missions.

The success of the original movie has created a buzz about the sequel among the audience as well as industry experts. The movie is produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, and it also features Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar as producers.
