TV Actor Vipul Roy Files FIR Against His Maid, Accuses Her Of Stealing Gold, Diamond Jewellery And Foreign Currency

Television actor and host Vipul Roy has filed a police complaint against his domestic help, accusing her of stealing foreign currency and valuable jewellery. The case has now come under investigation, with police trying to gather details about the accused. The incident reportedly took place at his residence in Mumbai and involves items worth several lakhs.

Vipul Roy Alleges His Maid Of Theft

According to police officials, Vipul Roy had hired the maid through an online platform. The man has alleged that she had stolen foreign currency of around Rs 5 lakh and gold and diamond jewellery worth nearly Rs 2 lakh from his house in the Khar area.

Details From The Complaint

PTI report states, the actor has named Dipali Kharwa as the maid in his complaint. She also worked at his home before and was just recently hired back, he said. Vipul said he had checked the drawers of his cupboard before leaving for work and found that several valuables were missing. He returned from a trip abroad and filed a formal

Missing Items Listed

As per the complaint, the stolen items include 100 US dollars, 7000 dirhams and 14,500 Thai baht notes of total value of about Rs 5 lakh. Also missing were a silver bracelet valued at Rs 85,000 and gold and diamond rings worth approximately Rs 1.25 lakh.

Police Investigation Ongoing

Police have started an investigation into the matter and are trying to get more information about the accused. Officials said no further action will be taken until all the facts are checked. So far Vipul Roy has not yet made any statement about the incident on social media.
