‘She Ordered Two..’: Akshay Kumar Reveals Wife Twinkle Khanna Took Smart Step At Home Amid LPG Tension

Actor Akshay Kumar recently spoke about concerns around LPG supply in India amid global tensions. While attending a public event in Mumbai, he shared a light yet practical detail from his personal life. The actor revealed that his wife, Twinkle Khanna, has already arranged an alternative cooking option at home as a precaution. His comments reflected both awareness of the situation and the need to stay prepared.

Akshay Kumar On LPG Concerns

Akshay Kumar spoke about the availability of Liquefied Petroleum Gas in his speech at a cleanliness event in Mumbai. He mentioned that there is no shortage of gas at his home.

However, he also mentioned that his family is taking precautions in case the shortage increases in the future. He mentioned, "There's no shortage of gas at my home as of now. But my wife, Twinkle, has already ordered two electric stoves as a backup. I don't know if they have already reached home or not.”

Visit the Mumbai Clean League event.

The actor attended the event, which was held by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), with a focus on the maintenance of cleanliness in the city. The actor shared that he had attended the event directly from the shoot of the film.

Akshay emphasised the need for the maintenance of hygiene in the city, stating that these issues need not be ignored. He further stated that moving forward with a positive mindset is necessary in order to bring about changes in society. 

Akshay On Film Choices And Changing Trends

During another interaction in the same event, Akshay Kumar talked about not being a part of the film Dhurandhar. He mentioned that he would have liked to do such a film, but he thinks that filmmaker Aditya Dhar might have had a different idea.

Akshay Kumar praised Ranveer Singh for his performance in the action film. He mentioned that while audiences enjoy watching action films, currently, horror comedies are trending, giving the example of the successful horror-comedy film Stree.

Upcoming Films Of Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar will be seen in the upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan. The film is said to be a horror comedy. He is also a part of Golmaal 5, which is directed by Rohit Shetty. The film also stars an ensemble cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu.
