Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2, titled The Revenge, is one of the highly-anticipated movies of the year. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 19, 2026, while the special preview shows have been scheduled for March 18. With its record-breaking advance booking, Dhurandhar 2 is set to become one of the biggest hits of the Indian cinema. Here is how much Aditya Dhar-directorial has earned before release.
According to the latest data from Sacnilk, the highly anticipated spy action thriller is already witnessing a massive box office surge, driven by an impressive Rs 37.11 crore generated from paid previews alone. As the countdown to the March 19 release continues, Day 1 momentum remains exceptionally strong, with over 6.1 lakh tickets sold across more than 10,000 shows nationwide. This domestic fervor has already translated into an opening day advance booking collection of Rs 22.70 crore, signaling a blockbuster start for the film.
The film's impact isn't limited to the Indian market; international interest is equally high, with overseas pre-sales for the opening weekend estimated at approximately Rs 60 crore. When these global figures are combined with domestic previews and Day 1 projections, the total opening window collection—including blocked seats—is estimated to stand at a staggering Rs 119.81 crore.

Dhurandhar was the first part of a duology that explored a fictional counterterror operation in Pakistan. By the end of the film, the character played by Ranveer Singh—who had been posing as Hamza Ali Mazari—is revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangi. Meanwhile, the character Rehman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna, is killed and Ranveer’s character appears set to take over his position as the next king of Lyari.
The censor board described Dhurandhar: The Revenge as containing "strong bloody violence and graphic injury detail." The film’s runtime is listed at 235 minutes, making it nearly 3 hours and 55 minutes long. This makes the sequel longer than its predecessor Dhurandhar, which had a runtime of 3 hours and 34 minutes and was rated A by the Central Board of Film Certification.
