The trailer of upcoming historical movie Raja Shivaji, starring and directed by Riteish Deshmukh, has finally been released, creating excitement among fans. The film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and promises a grand cinematic experience. This trailer was launched during a special event held in Mumbai, which saw participation from many celebrities. Along with Riteish, stars like Genelia Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Sanjay Dutt were also present. He also posted the trailer on social media with an emotional message commemorating Shivaji Maharaj.

The trailer provided a preview of an epic historical movie. This was a story of valour, devotion and strong leadership through the life story of Shivaji Maharaj.

The film features Riteish Deshmukh as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, while Genelia Deshmukh plays his first wife, Saibai. Sanjay Dutt appears as the antagonist Afzal Khan, adding intensity to the narrative. Abhishek Bachchan will play the role of Sambhaji Shahaji Raje Bhosle, the elder brother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
