Story Based On Historical Events And RSS Journey

According to the makers, the film will highlight some of the major events in the history of India. Such key events are the banning of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the demolition of the Babri Masjid, and the killing of Mahatma Gandhi. The narrative aims to present these incidents from different viewpoints and encourage discussion.

According to reports, this story is based on the 100-year history of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, which was established by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in 1925. The story revolves around a critical meeting that occurred between these two men, which is thought to have shaped the nation’s course.

Akhiri Sawal Cast, Director, and Release Date

Besides Sanjay Dutt, other cast members include Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, Tridha Choudhury, and Neetu Chandra. Furthermore, the movie will see the comeback of Sameera Reddy, who hasn't been seen in movies for a while. The film is directed by the national award-winning director Abhijeet Mohan Warang.

The project is presented and produced by Nikhil Nanda along with Sanjay Dutt. It is backed by multiple producers and production houses. Aakhri Sawal is set to release in theatres on May 8, 2026.
