Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, has begun its fifth weekend at the Indian box office, despite a discernible decline. The spy thriller movie's profits have been somewhat impacted by the release of Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla. The general box office trajectory of Dhurandhar 2 showed a considerable week-over-week drop following its record-breaking opening phase, even though this weekend's performance showed some steadiness. It made about Rs 5.2 crore on its fifth Sunday (April 19). It was the week's largest one-day haul. 

Dhurandhar 2 made Rs 5.20 crore from 3,910 domestic shows on day 32. Its Hindi version, which brought in Rs 5 crore with 29% occupancy across 3,743 shows, dominated day 32's revenues.

With a global total of around Rs 1,757 crore, Dhurandhar 2 is presently the third-highest-grossing Indian film worldwide, only surpassed by Rs 31 crore by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which had a lifetime total of approximately Rs 1,788 crore. Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2, which debuted in 2024 with a gross of Rs 1742 crore, was surpassed by Dhurandhar 2.

Dhurandhar is about an Indian spy who infiltrates Pakistan's criminal and political underground in Karachi. The 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and the circumstances surrounding Operation Lyari are just a few of the real-life incidents involving geopolitical tensions that are interwoven into the plot.

In the follow-up, Ranveer Singh's character received training to become Hamza Ali Mazari. Additionally, it advances the plot by depicting him seizing control of Lyari's power structures while attempting to destroy a terror network in Pakistan that poses a threat to India.
