Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke, a song by Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt from the Kannada pan-Indian movie KD: The Devil, has caused controversy due to its purportedly 'vulgar" lyrics. A significant portion of social media users have criticized the song's lyrics and choreography, calling it inappropriate, while some viewers have appreciated Nora's dance performance. In light of this, the song's creators removed it from YouTube.
Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke (the Hindi version) was removed after a complaint was submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification. The notification 'video unavailable' was seen on YouTube. Nonetheless, the song was still accessible online in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
Now Director Prem has started giving a headache to the Hindi audience, especially bhojpuri audience.

Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke, which is now making the rounds on YouTube and social media, contains 'highly vulgar, sexually suggestive, and obscene expressions,' according to the complaint. It goes on to say that the dance movements and picturisation are offensive, adding to a broader issue of public decency. A separate criminal complaint has apparently been made with the Delhi Police Cyber Cell, and the issue has also been forwarded to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Singer Mangli, composer Arjun Janya, director Prem, and lyricist Raqeeb Alam were named in the case.

Many criticised the lyrics and visual in particular. One of the many users wrote on X (earlier Twitter), "What kind of lyrics are these in the new KD The Devil song? 'Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke' is straight-up vulgarity being sold as music. Cheap double meanings, cringe lines and shameless choreography. Is this really what Bollywood calls creativity now?"
Another user wrote, "Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt's item song crosses the limits of obscenity. The Bhojpuri industry is already notorious, and now Bollywood folks aren't lagging behind either. In the song 'Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke' from the film KD, Sanjay Dutt didn't even consider his age."
