South Indian actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda got married on the 26th of February, 2026, in a grand ceremony held in the royal city of Udaipur. After the grand ceremony, the newlywed couple visited the renowned Tirupati Balaji Temple in the state of Andhra Pradesh to seek blessings on their newlywed life. A day after returning to Hyderabad from Udaipur, Rashmika and Vijay went to the Tirumala hills in the Chittoor district to seek blessings from the Tirupati Balaji (Venkateswara Swamy) Temple.

Rashmika was looking stunning in a green and golden Kanjeevaram sari. She completed her traditional look by donning golden jewellery, a mangalsutra, and a fresh gajra in her hair. Her makeup was subtle yet elegant. Vijay was looking handsome in a traditional white kurta with an orange shawl draped around his shoulders. Vijay’s brother, Anand Deverakonda, was also seen accompanying the couple to the temple.

Fans Gather Outside The Temple

As soon as the news of their visit spread, there was a huge crowd waiting outside the temple to get a glimpse of the newlywed couple. The fans were keen to get a glimpse of their favourite actors and took pictures from a distance. Rashmika and Vijay greeted the people and thanked them for their well-wishes before leaving the temple.

Special Celebration Plan And Reception

To celebrate their wedding with their fans across the country, Rashmika and Vijay have decided to do a special gesture on the 1st of March. They have sent trucks loaded with sweets to various places around the country and have arranged food donations, or annadanam, at 16 temples across the country.

Their wedding in Udaipur was a private ceremony that took place over three days, with close family members and friends in attendance, including filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga and actress Kalyani Priyadarshan. The grand reception ceremony of the couple will be held in Hyderabad on the 4th of March, with many celebrities expected to attend the event.

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have turned their wedding into a nationwide celebration by distributing thousands of sweet boxes across 23 cities and organising annadanam at temples.
