The drama around the MTV dating show Splitsvilla 16 continues even off-screen as wild card contestant Ruru Thakur recently confirmed her breakup with Yogesh Rawat, the other contestant of the show. During a live session on Instagram, she opened up about their relationship, her regrets about joining the show and the controversies surrounding their journey. Her candid statements have once again grabbed attention among fans of the popular dating reality show.
Ruru Confirms Breakup With Yogesh Rawat Publicly
In her latest live session, Ruru clarified all the rumours regarding her personal life and relationship. In response to a fan who said the breakup is fake, she clearly said, "We have ended our relationship, it's over."
Moreover, she continued, "But this is not something that needs to be denied. It's over," implying that the relationship is indeed over.
Reaction To Fans and Future Appearances
When she was asked whether or not they would find her alongside Yogesh in the coming days, Ruru answered in a light-hearted tone. She said, “Abhi jab finale karte hain, jab sab ko bulayenge wapas, tab dekha jaiga.” This answer clearly suggested that even if they came face-to-face, it would only be on stage.

Regret Over Show Decisions
Ruru also admitted that she regrets certain decisions made during the show. Speaking about breaking the connection between Yogesh and Akanksha Choudhary, she said, “I still regret it, main kyun hi gayi.”
