Rumours of a global cultural breakthrough in Northeast India have reignited following a strategic meeting between the Assam administration and South Korean powerhouse HYBE. While an official announcement is still pending, the talks between Assam Tourism’s Padmapani Bora and HYBE executives have fueled intense speculation that BTS could make a surprise stop in India.

Despite India being initially excluded from the Arirang World Tour, fans are hopeful for a newly added date as the group prepares for its highly anticipated return. This potential collaboration underscores the synergy between India's booming "concert economy" and the global music industry's expansion into untapped markets.

Hosting an act of this magnitude signals a major shift for Northeast India, an area once considered remote from global tour circuits. This momentum is backed by HYBE's long-term commitment to the region, highlighted by the establishment of HYBE India in Mumbai last year. As the company's fifth international headquarters, this move aims to bridge local talent with their global network, integrating India directly into the Kpop powerhouse's ecosystem.
