Congratulations are in order for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as they're prepared to embrace parenthood yet again! The actors announced second pregnancy on social media on Sunday with a cute post on Instagram. A picture of their daughter Dua holding a pregnancy test kit with a positive result was shared to announce the news. She shared it with the evil eyes emoji in the caption.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's colleagues and industry peers showered with congratulations as anticipation grew for the Bollywood couple. Samantha Ruth Prabhu bestowed love on the parents with red heart emojis, while Parineeti Chopra congratulated them. Angad Bedi, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Vineet Kumar Singh and others showered their blessings on the couple in the comment section.

Deepika and Ranveer fans celebrated the news, congratulated the couple in the comment section. Many called out haters, others simply expressed joy. A user wrote, "Dua is going to be a big sister now." Another user said, "Nazar na lage bas." A third person mocked trollers and commented, "Where's the divorce gang now, huh?"

Deepika and Ranveer were married in a small yet lavish ceremony in Lake Como in Italy in November 2018 following a brief courtship. They followed both Sindhi and traditional Konkani traditions at their wedding. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Dua in September 2024. The duo unveiled her face for the world during their Diwali celebrations as she turned one last year. Some thought she looked like her father, while others referred to her as a mini-Deepika. 

Meanwhile, on the work front,  Deepika will appear opposite Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, and Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand's next film King. The movie is set to hit theaters on December 24, 2026. She is also working on Atlee's Raka, which will co-star Allu Arjun. Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, is now enjoying the success of his most recent film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which has brought in over Rs 1,700 crore globally. The movie, which was directed by Aditya Dhar, is the first Hindi movie to earn more than Rs 1000 crore in India.
