Don 3 controversy continues to make headlines even after FWICE lifted its non-cooperation notice against Ranveer Singh. While the legal proceedings between the actor and the concerned parties are still ongoing, Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) President Poonam Dhillon has come out in support of Ranveer. On the matter, she praised the actor’s character and said that he is known to be fair and professional in his dealings.
‘He Is a Fair Person,’ Says Poonam Dhillon About Ranveer Singh
Speaking to The Free Press Journal, Poonam Dhillon was asked whether she believed Ranveer Singh was right in the matter.
She said, “We do not know all the details of the issue, but we do know that he is a fair person. If he feels he is right, he is not someone who would deliberately hurt or harm anyone. He shares a very good relationship with Excel. They have delivered two major hits together.”

She further added, “If he was not comfortable doing the film, there could be several reasons behind that decision. It is also commendable that he compensated for the losses and returned the signing amount. Many people do not do that.”

CINTAA’s Stand On The Issue
The actress also said that the Cine & TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) is always there for its members. The association encourages a fair resolution if an artist is found to be at fault, she said. It’s also a staunch defender of actors when they are treated unfairly.
Dhillon said the situation escalated fast and maybe got more complicated because of the involvement of other parties. But she adds that attempts have been made to settle the matter amicably.
What Is Don 3 Dispute?
In 2023, Farhan Akhtar announced Don 3 with Ranveer Singh stepping in for Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. Subsequent reports said Ranveer walked out of the project and had a fallout with Excel Entertainment.
The situation worsened when reports suggested that the production house was seeking Rs 45 crore in damages. FWICE has withdrawn its non-cooperation order but Ranveer has reportedly sent a legal notice to the organisation.
