Sanjay Dutt-Nora Fatehi Song Controversy: The recently released song ‘Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke’ from KD The Devil has triggered widespread backlash online, with audiences criticising its lyrics as vulgar and inappropriate. Featuring Sanjay Dutt and Nora Fatehi, the Hindi version of the track is a remake of the Kannada song ‘Sarse Ninna Seraga Sarse’. While the makers aimed to build excitement ahead of the film’s release, the song has instead drawn negative attention.
The controversy gained momentum after Armaan Malik publicly criticised the lyrics. Sharing his reaction on X, the singer wrote, "This showed up on my timeline and I had to replay it just to make sure I heard it right. Sad to see commercial songwriting hit a new low." Responding to a fan who questioned the approval of such lyrics, he added, "I am genuinely at a loss of words. Wish I could unhear it." Social media platforms have been flooded with reactions from users expressing concern over the song’s content. Some have even demanded action against the makers.

Meanwhile, the Hindi version of the song has been sung by Mangli, with lyrics by Raqeeb Alam and music composed by Arjun Janya. However, criticism has not been limited to the Hindi version alone. Many viewers have pointed out that the original Kannada lyrics are also objectionable, leading to disappointment among audiences across both regions. Apart from the lyrics, several viewers also criticised the visual presentation of the song, claiming it objectifies Nora Fatehi.
