The editing of the first section has been completed. The makers are now concentrating on visual effects, according to a report by Pinkvilla in October 2025. They intend to spend about 300 days refining the visual effects. Meanwhile, Producer Namit Malhotra has discussed the difficulties of making a movie of this size while speaking to Komal Nahta on the Game Changers podcast.

Ramayana producer said, "The shooting for Part 1 is almost over now. When I started planning the film, we had a huge vision. Everyone, including the actors, asked me if I have enough funds to pull it off. I’ve finished the first film and have not borrowed a single rupee." He added, "I don’t know where the money is coming from. When people ask me how I pulled it off, even I don’t know. This is something else. It’s just happening on its own. This is not just a project or a business proposition."

Ramayana is divided into two sections by Nitesh Tiwari. On Diwali 2026, the first half will be released globally, and on Diwali 2027, the second part will be released in theatres.
