Rajesh Upadhyay

    Rajesh Upadhyay is a journalist and researcher with over three decades of experience in journalism. With a deep understanding of both digital and print media, he has been instrumental in shaping and establishing media teams across leading organisations. Prior to his current role with the Dainik Jagran group, he contributed to the success of Dainik Bhaskar and Hindustan Times, where he played a pivotal role in developing digital and print teams. At the Jagran group, Rajesh serves as the Editor-in-Chief of digital and Executive President, leading initiatives in fact-checking and media literacy as part of the IFCN-signatory Vishvas News. He holds a postgraduate degree in journalism and mass communication and is an alumnus of the Editorial Development Program at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore. Rajesh is a certified Google News Initiative fact-checking and news verification trainer, holding various international certifications in investigative reporting, media literacy, and public policy. He has been invited as an expert and guest at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), MICA, and IIM Indore.
