It will be the second time that OpenAI has offered its Plus subscription for free. It has been confirmed that OpenAI is offering the Plus subscription in India as well. Tibor Blaho, Lead Engineer at AIRPM was the first to highlight this offer and he shared the details on his X (formerly Twitter) account. The offer is currently live in India, and you can claim it for free. BleepingComputer also reported that it's available for the US people as well. If you are not in the above-specified country, you should check to see if it's available in your region or not.
How To Claim ChatGPT Plus Free for a Month
You will need to follow the steps below to get your hands on ChatGPT Plus for free:
1. Head to ChatGPT and go to your profile.
2. There you will see an option to upgrade your plan.
3. You will see “Claim free offer” on the plus version.
4. Simply claim it and share your autope preferred option.
5. Once done, you might get charged Rs.1 to mandate autope. After that you will be enrolled in ChatGPT Plus.

- ChatGPT Go Subscribers can claim it.
- You will need to share your credit card and net banking details for auto-pay setup.
- If you already have a ChatGPT Go for the free version of 12 months and you can still upgrade to Plus after 1 month of free ChatGPT Plus, you will be back to the free version of ChatGPT, not the Go version.
