When Is Vat Savitri Vrat 2026?
As per the Hindu calendar, Vat Savitri Vrat 2026 will be marked on the new moon (Amavasya) of the month of Jyeshtha, like every year. In 2026, the Vat Savitri Vrat falls on Saturday, May 16, at 5:11 am, across north India.
Additionally, the Vat Savitri Vrat 2026 will conclude on the next day, May 17, at 1:30 am. Married women complete this fast by bathing, worshipping, and then eating sattvic food or fruits.

5 Easy Ways To Complete Vat Savitri Vrat 2026 Puja At Home Without A Banyan Tree:
1. Worship Photo Of Banyan Tree
If a banyan tree is not located nearby, then you can also opt for a photo of a banyan tree and decorate it with flowers, kumkum, and rice. Pray to the picture of the Banyan tree.
2. Worship Banyan Sapling
Widely available on e-commerce platforms, but a banyan sapling or small banyan plant, and perform Vat Savitri Vrat Puja at home. You can also perform parikrama around the plant and tie the sacred thread while praying.
