Therefore, try this homemade curl-defining gel that’s perfect for anyone who loves simple and all-natural haircare.

Apart from being pocket-friendly, when I used this Hair gel on my wavy hair, I found its texture light and made my hair smooth, while defining the wavy texture of my hair.
Ingredients To Make DIY Flaxseed Hair Gel Recipe For Soft, Defined Curls At Home
All you need to make flaxseed hair gel at home is three tablespoons of flaxseed and water, and that is all.
Step-By-Step Guide To Make Flaxseed Hair Gel At Home:
Step 1: Add one glass of water to a pan.
Step 2: Then add three tablespoons of the flaxseeds.
Step 3: Keep your stove on low to medium and let it boil for 10 minutes.
Step 4: As the water starts turning sticky and heavy, give it a little stir.
Step 5: Soon you’ll witness the formation of a gel-like texture. At this point, lower the heat and leave it for another five minutes.

Step 6: Afterwards, strain the gel through a clean cotton cloth into a clean, sterilised container.
Step 7: Squeeze the gel out of the cloth, pour everything into a container and let it cool down.
Step 8: You can also add 2 to 3 drops of olive oil to your homemade flaxseed hair gel (optional step) and shake well before using.

Apply this hair gel as usual to your washed hair for defined, soft and bouncy curls. You can also use a mild hair serum over it to get away from the gel cast, if it bothers you. You can also store this DIY hair gel in the fridge for a maximum of 10 days. However, it is also important to do a patch test or consult an expert before using anything on yourself to keep yourself safe from allergies.
