Vaazha 2 OTT Release: The record-breaking Malayalam film Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros is all set to make its digital debut on JioHotstar on May 8. The announcement follows the film’s remarkable theatrical run in Kerala, where it reportedly earned around Rs 121 crore within just 25 days of release. With this achievement, the film has emerged as the highest-grossing movie in Kerala’s history, surpassing the records previously held by Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra (Rs 120.85 crore) and Thudarum (Rs 118.9 crore).

Vaazha 2 revolves around the lives of four childhood friends—Hashir, Alan, Vinayak, and Ajin—whose carefree college days often land them in trouble with both their families and authorities. As reality begins to set in, the group decides to turn their lives around by focusing on academics and aspiring to move abroad in search of better opportunities and a more secure future.

The film features performances by Hashir H, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy and Vinayak V., alongside notable actors like Vijay Babu, Aju Varghese and Bijukuttan.

Vaazha 3 Announced

Riding on the massive success of the sequel, the makers have already announced the next installment in the franchise. Titled Vaazha 3: Biopic of a Billion Girls, the third film will be directed by debutant Viswan Sreejith and is being backed by producers Vipin, Harris Desom, PB Anish, Sahu Ganapati, Adarsh Narayan, and Icon Studios. The upcoming chapter aims to expand the youth-centric narrative and is currently targeting a 2027 release.
