Stranger Things Season 5 Best To Worst Episodes: Stranger Things makers recently dropped three episodes from the fifth season on Netflix on December 25. The sci-fi epic opened to mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. Some said the episodes were dull and uninteresting compared to the rest of the series, while others commended the creators for the major surprise. In the midst of all of this, it has just been revealed that Stranger Things season 5 volume 2's audience rating has further declined. Yes, you read that right!

Stranger Things has typically received great ratings and accolades throughout its nearly ten-year run, but the most recent episode of season five proves that not all web shows are flawless.

Stranger Things Season 5 Worst Rated Episode

Stranger Things Season 5 Chapter Seven: The Bridge is the lowest-rated episode to date. With a 5.8/10 rating on IMDb, this number puts a severe blow to Netflix's sci-fi series.  The Lost Sister, which was the seventh episode in the second season received a 6 out of 10, was the previously lowest-rated episode.

With this, Stranger Things 5 has only one episode left, leaving many people anxious to see how the eagerly anticipated finale will conclude. The most recent season offers emotionally packed episodes with shocking revelations, despite the apparent criticisms and small issues.

Noah Schnapp recently talked about Will Byers' coming-out moment in Stranger Things Season 5. The actor talked about recording the tough moment on social media, remembering that he shot the monologue for around 12 hours on a single day.

Noah Schnapp said, "It was endless. It was like a 12-hour day of just that monologue. And we weren’t even done after the 12-hour day. We came back a week later to reshoot certain parts of the scene for another 12 hours."

He added, "I never felt stuck to anything. I got advice from Maya on how to prepare for it, because there were so many lines, more lines than I’d ever had before."

If questions are addressed and fan-favourite characters and their tales are satisfactorily resolved, Stranger Things has the potential to change its destiny and save the entire season in the eyes of the public. As the sci-fi series draws to a close, hopefully the conclusion will deliver what fans have been waiting for.

Netflix is currently streaming Stranger Things season 5 volumes 1 and 2, and the finale will be accessible on December 31, 2025 and January 1, 2026.
