A user wrote on Reddit, "There is a limit to trolling someone. A certain group of people take pride in trolling others while comfortably hiding behind their computer screens! You don’t like his acting, then don’t watch his movies. It’s as simple as that. He has experienced one of the most painful situations in his life."
"People on the internet really need to stop trolling him in the comments. God forbid he does something to himself. The same people will then be commenting on mental health," wrote another user. A netizen also wrote, "I just hope Arjun leaves this toxic showbiz as it’s been nothing but hate-filled for him, and focuses on something more off the limelight on his own."

Earlier also, Arjun's emotional post on his late mother's birthday caught attention of netizens. The actor, who has often found himself at the receiving end of online trolling, has endured years of memes, abuses and even personal attacks without letting the negativity affect his demeanour. However, this deeply personal note resonated differently, leaving many netizens visibly moved.
In his Instagram post, Arjun wrote, "Happy birthday Maa, I miss u so much today. Life’s been kinda cruel to me lately but it’s ok. I’ve taken the punches before I’ll take em again & still rise… Because u taught me how to fight by standing up facing life head on while being graceful & dignified thru it all… We will ride it out together U & I I’ll see u again soon & we will celebrate ur bday together someday… Your loving son Arjun."
