Netflix Teases Money Heist Spinoff Series; What To Expect?

Money Heist Spinoff: Netflix teased a one-minute preview for the upcoming episode of the well-liked series. The third season of Berlin, a character-focused spin-off, or season six, will all incorporate Money Heist, but the producers haven't said so. Interestingly, this announcement comes just days before Berlin 2's May 15 official premiere. For those who don't know, Money Heist's fifth and last season premiered in 2021.

What To Expect From Money Heist Spinoff Series?

Netflix took its followers by surprise. "It all started with money and evolved into gold and invaluable treasures", read the opening statement of the series, along with an unexpected announcement video. The next stage of this franchise is already in progress, according to the makers.

The Money Heist makers stated that although some stories start with a flawless strike, this series changed everything. They said that La Casa de Papel has continuously changed, grown, and amazed audiences. The universe included the first cash theft, the century's most creative robbery, and an audacious scheme that 'risked vast amounts of gold from the Bank of Spain'.

Netflix has not formally stated whether the upcoming project is a spin-off, continuation, or new season under the original banner. The Money Heist universe is still very much alive and may be just getting started.

What We Know About Berlin Season 2?

In the meantime, Berlin Season 2 is set to debut on May 15. This prequel spin-off series centred on Pedro Alonso's character, Andrés de Fonollosa, commonly known as Berlin.

According to reports, the plot moved from Paris to Spain, where Berlin sets out to target the Duke of Málaga. Michelle Jenner, Tristán Ulloa, Inma Cuesta, José Luis García-Pérez, and Marta Nieto were among the new and returning members alongside  Pedro Alonso. It is anticipated that the arcs of other well-known characters, such as Keila, Damián, Cameron, Roi, and Bruce, will continue.
