Sanjay Dutt starrer Aakhri Sawal has emerged as one of the most anticipated films, with audiences eagerly awaiting its release. After generating significant buzz with its announcement, the makers unveiled the teaser on Hanuman Jayanti, offering a never-before-seen glimpse into the history of the world’s largest voluntary organization, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Now, taking the intensity a notch higher, the makers have unveiled a new promo that raises a provocative question: what happened in Ayodhya on 6th December 1992?

With every new asset, Aakhri Sawal seems to delve deeper into the history books, prompting audiences to question aspects of the past that have rarely been explored on screen. The latest promo poses a question that many have hesitated to confront: what happened in Ayodhya on 6th December 1992, the day of the Babri Masjid demolition?

This brings attention to a deeply sensitive and significant chapter in history, raising questions about the RSS’s alleged involvement in the demolition. Aakhri Sawal is directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang. Presented by Nikhil Nanda, the film is produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt, and co-produced by Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. The story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Utkarsh Naithani. The film is set to release in cinemas on May 8, 2026.
