Ustaad Bhagat Singh Box Office Day 1: Today, March 19, 2026, the comedy-action film Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring actor Pawan Kalyan, opened in theaters. There are high hopes for the Telugu movie, both as a Christmas release and as a possible turning point in the star's recent box office trend. This release is largely viewed as a chance for a much-needed commercial comeback following the disappointing reception of his previous film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, chronicled the story of a determined police officer named Bhagat Singh who defended himself against formidable opponents in the face of insurmountable circumstances.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh had already exhibited promise through advance bookings prior to its theatrical release. With over 41,000 tickets sold nationwide, the movie reportedly made over Rs 10 crore from pre-sales alone. According to Sacnilk, the gross earnings with blocked seats were Rs 17.66 crore.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh USA Collection
Ustaad Bhagat Singh has already made $234,504 movie advance purchases for its USA premiere, according to data released by trade tracker Venky Box Office. As of right now, 10,251 tickets were sold at 411 venues and 1,070 events. Premiere advance purchases have reached about $255,000 when the larger North American market is taken into account. There are about two days left before the premiere screenings. These numbers are an early snapshot rather than the final advance booking position because reservations are still being accepted in other places.

Regardless of reviews, star-driven movies frequently do well at the box office, but their stability on weekdays typically depends on public conversation. Ustaad Bhagat Singh's ability to turn its great early buzz into a successful theatrical run will be determined in the coming days.
However, the concurrent release of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, which debuted in theaters on March 19, has also influenced the box office scene for Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Pre-release excitement for the Ranveer Singh-led spy action sequel was enormous both in India and abroad. On March 19, early paid screenings raked in Rs 52 crore.
