About Teach You a Lesson: Based on the Naver webtoon Get Schooled by Chae Yong-taek and Han Ga-ram, the series follows an official from the Educational Rights Protection Agency (ERPA) who is authorised by the government to use physical intervention and unconventional methods to discipline delinquent students and reform the educational system.

In November 2024, Kim Nam-gil was reportedly in talks to lead a new series. However, his fanbase strongly opposed the move, citing the original webtoon's controversial themes, including racism, sexism and the promotion of corporal punishment. Kim addressed the backlash on Instagram on November 8, clarifying that he had not yet reviewed or accepted the role. He stated that his current focus was entirely on filming The Fiery Priest 2.
