Triptii Dimri has been receiving praise for her performance in Netflix’s recently released movie Maa Behen. Actor Ravi Kishan, who shared screen space with her in the film, believes the project has given audiences a chance to see a different side of the actress. According to him, the film has helped Triptii move beyond the image that became attached to her after the massive success of Animal. He also highlighted how the movie showcases the versatility of its cast, including veteran actor Madhuri Dixit.
Ravi Kishan Feels Triptii Dimri's Animal Image Pulled Out With Maa Behen
Talking to NDTV about Maa Behen, actor-turned-politician Ravi Kishan spoke about the impact of the film on Triptii Dimri’s career.
He said, “Thank God yeh film aai. Thank God Tripti Dimri ke jeevan mein yeh film aayi - Maa Behen jisne unko apne Animal wale swaroop se nikala bahar. (Thank God this film came. Thank God this film came into Tripti Dimri's life — which pulled her out of her image from Animal).”
Ravi believes the film allows viewers to look beyond the perception created after Animal and appreciate Triptii’s wider acting range.

He said, “Madhuri ma'am's name is so big. Songs such as 'Dhak Dhak' and 'Choli' became so famous that her best acts were overshadowed by these songs. Thank God this film came along. It reminded audiences that she also did romantic films and that she has given so many different kinds of performances. This film has done a great job.”
How Film Animal Changed Triptii’s Career?
Triptii Dimri became a well-known name in the country through her character named Zoya Riaz in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer film Animal, which was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
She became a social media sensation, which also earned her the title of being “national crush” due to her portrayal in the movie. However, her performance was also criticised due to some intimate scenes in the movie.
