Jason Sanjay will be making his debut as a director in a Tamil film Sigma, a movie that is being made under Lyca Productions. The lead actor, Sundeep Kishan, is making an essential contribution to the film.

Who Helped Jason Enter The Industry?

Despite his grandfather, SA Chandrasekhar, being a well-known film director and father of Thalapathy Vijay being one of the biggest stars in Tamil cinema, sources have stated that neither of them assisted Jason in obtaining this job.

As per sources in PRO Vithagan Sekar, the maternal grandfather (Nana) of Jason, Sornalingam, who happens to be a businessman based out of London, was instrumental in playing the pivotal role here. Sources state that Sornalingam maintains a cordial relationship with Subaskaran Allirajah, who is the owner of Lyca Productions.

Jason May Avoid Using Vijay As Surname

Reports also suggest that Jason Sanjay may avoid using the ‘Vijay’ surname professionally. Instead, he is expected to use the name ‘Jason Sanjay S’, where the S reportedly stands for his mother Sangeetha Sornalingam. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding this yet.

The film is expected to be released later this year and is already being closely watched by fans and industry insiders.
