Kanye West, aka Ye's highly anticipated debut concert in India has officially been cancelled. The rapper was scheduled to perform in New Delhi on May 23, 2026, after the event had already been postponed once earlier this year. Organisers confirmed that the concert would not move forward due to security-related instructions from authorities. The announcement disappointed many fans who had been eagerly waiting to witness Ye perform live in India for the very first time.
Kanye West's Concert Gets Cancelled
Event management company White Fox shared the update through an Instagram statement. According to the organisers, government authorities and law enforcement agencies advised them against proceeding with the show because of safety concerns.
The statement read, “We are deeply disheartened to announce that Ye Live in India, scheduled for 23rd May 2026 in New Delhi, will not be able to proceed due to directives issued by officials.”
The organisers further added that public safety remained their top priority despite months of planning for the large-scale music event.

Ye’s Concert Was Earlier Postponed
Ye’s India concert was first planned for March 29, 2026, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. However, the event was delayed because of geopolitical tensions and concerns connected to the US-Iran situation. The concert was later rescheduled for May 23 before being completely cancelled.
Global Tour Problems Continue
This is not the first disruption in Ye’s recent touring schedule. Reports suggest several international performances have also been cancelled in recent months due to controversies and logistical issues. Earlier this year, the rapper reportedly lost opportunities to headline shows in London and parts of Europe following criticism over his controversial public remarks.
