Celebrity Hairstylist Aalim Hakim Sets New Rule Against Actors With Rude Managers, Calls Out Toxic Industry Behaviour

Bollywood celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim has grabbed attention after sharing a powerful message about the treatment of creative professionals in the entertainment industry. In a strongly-worded Instagram post shared on May 15, the celebrity hairstylist revealed that he and his team will no longer work with actors whose managers or teams disrespect hairstylists, assistants, makeup artists, or crew members. His emotional note about dignity and kindness has now sparked widespread discussion online.

Aalim Hakim Speaks Against Disrespectful Behaviour Of Actors’ Managers

In his Instagram post, Aalim Hakim openly criticised rude behaviour shown by some managers and teams working around celebrities. Without naming anyone, he wrote, “We have decided not to work with actors whose teams disrespect, demean, or mistreat any creative professional or crew member.”

Respect The Artists Behind The Star

Apart from the post, Hakim also wrote a long emotional yet straightforward note and highlighted the hard work done by hairstylists, makeup artists, assistants, stylists and crew members behind every celebrity appearance.

He wrote, “Behind every public appearance, every red carpet moment, every film look, every photoshoot, every close-up... there are creative people silently giving their heart, their time, their talent, and their energy to make someone shine.”

According to him, many crew members sacrifice sleep, festivals, family time, and personal comfort only to ensure actors look their best in front of cameras.

Aalim Says Creativity Deserves Respect

Hakim also stated that respect should never depend on someone’s designation or power. He added that true stars do not need people around them who insult others to prove importance.
