India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy had a difficult outing with the ball during the fourth T20I against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland. The fast-bowling all-rounder conceded 32 runs in the 16th over, putting him among the most expensive Indian bowlers in an over in T20I cricket.

Only Shivam Dube, who gave away 34 runs against New Zealand in 2020, has conceded more runs in a single over for India in the format. Stuart Binny also leaked 32 runs against West Indies in 2016.

Reddy’s expensive over came when Glenn Phillips took complete control of the attack. It started with Michael Bracewell taking a single after an LBW appeal. India decided to review the decision but lost the review.

Phillips then took charge. Reddy bowled a no-ball on the second delivery, which the New Zealand batter hit for a four. Phillips collected two runs off the free hit before taking the attack to another level.

The handed batter smashed the next four deliveries for sixes, taking 32 runs off the over and adding to India’s bowling troubles. Here is the video
