419.619.6: Prasidh Krishna to Tilak Varma, FOUR! HUNDRED FOR TILAK VARMA! Maiden IPL ton for Tilak, and it could not have come at a better time for the Mumbai Indians. Prasidh Krishna digs it in short with Kagiso Rabada at square leg up inside the circle. This is on middle and Tilak swivels and gets on top of the bounce. He nails the pull over square leg and picks up a boundary to reach the milestone. Varma is off on a celebratory run and takes the helmet off before pulling out the 'cut out the noise' gesture, and then looks at the heavens to thank the one above. A 45-ball hundred for Varma, the joint-fastest for MI in the IPL, drawing level with the great Sanath Jayasuriya. 22 runs off the final over and MI finish with 199/5.
6 Over | Run: 199/5 | Run Rate: 9.95

It ends up being a full toss, on the off stump at 142 kph. Tilak sinks to a knee and uses the pace on the ball. He directs the scoop over deep fine leg for a six. Varma moves to 97 with a ball left in the innings.
119.419.4: Prasidh Krishna to Sherfane Rutherford, Yorker gone slightly wrong for Prasidh. Low full toss, across off. Sherfane is deep in the crease and his weight stays on the back foot. He slices it along the ground to deep point for one.

Tilak gets his hands high for the pull and gets just enough elevation on the pull. Kagiso Rabada at deep square leg leaps and sticks the right hand over his head, but the ball sails over his head.
419.119.1: Prasidh Krishna to Tilak Varma, FOUR! Not exactly where Tilak intended but he will take it. Not a great option from Prasidh with mid off up inside the circle. He tries to attack the stumps with a full ball. Varma attempts to launch it over mid off but the ball flies off a thickish outside edge over backward point for a four.
018.618.6: Mohammed Siraj to Sherfane Rutherford, Top delivery from Siraj. Yorker, just outside the off stump. Sherfane Rutherford drops his bat down but fails to dig it out. 10 runs and a wicket from the over.

018.518.5: Mohammed Siraj to Hardik Pandya, OUT! CAUGHT! Hardik Pandya holes out. A scratchy stay for the MI skipper. Siraj attempts the yorker but it comes out as a low full toss, on middle. Pandya gets the front leg out of the way and hangs low to swing it across the line. Gets it low on the bat and he does not get the timing on the shot. Pandya clears the front leg and tries to jam it out. The ball catches him on the back pad before going away on the off side as the batters cross. Siraj goes up in an appeal for LBW but it is turned down. Gill asks Buttler if the ball has hit Hardik in line. Shubman eventually takes the review. The replays show a deflection of the inside edge and the UltraEdge confirms the same.

617.517.5: Ashok Sharma to Tilak Varma, SIX! Back-to-back sixes for Tilak, and he really enjoyed this hit as did Hardik.
