A Pakistani politician’s controversial speech made in the United States has sparked strong reactions on social media. The remarks, made during a public event in New York City, included strong criticism of India and references to past India-Pakistan tensions.

Pak Senator Makes Anti-India Remarks

Rana Mahmood-ul-Hassan, a sitting Pakistani senator, allegedly made strong remarks against India. He repeatedly referred to Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and praised Pakistan’s military actions during the 2025 India-Pakistan conflict. He made these comments while addressing a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) event. In a post on X, US-based political commentator and journalist Amy Mek shared a long thread about the event titled “Maarka-e-Haq.”

She described the speech as “a direct threat from Pakistan on US soil.” According to reports shared by her, Mahmood, who was earlier with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) before joining the PPP in 2024, spoke for nearly an hour. During his speech, he repeatedly targetted India with what were described as threats, strong criticism, and calls to continue confrontation until the Kashmir issue is resolved.

At one point, he said, “Na samjhoge to mit jaoge Hindustan walo... tumhari dastan tak na hogi dastanon mein! (If you don't understand, you Indians will be wiped out... your story won't even appear in history books!)” The report further claimed that he made comments celebrating Pakistan’s actions against India, saying: “Pakistan ne unko shikast di hai… unka gurur khak mein mila diya… unka takabbur zameen doz kar diya… unko muh chhupane ke liye jagah nahi mili.”

Pak Senator Targets Kashmir

He made strong remarks about continuing the struggle and said, “Jab kuch na ban saka to dubo denge safeena… hum ladenge aakhri dam tak ladenge apne mulk ke difa ke liye.” Hassan also raised the Kashmir issue and urged everyone to fight until the end. “Kashmir ka masla jab tak hal nahi hoga… hum har mahaz par ladenge. Har mahaz par jaake (Until Kashmir is solved, we will fight on every front: military, diplomatic, everything),” he said.

He further described India as an “enemy neighbour” and accused it of supporting groups such as the BLA and TTP, while claiming Pakistani agencies were monitoring developments closely. He praised unity among Pakistan’s political and military leadership, including the army, PPP, and PML-N, and described it as a “victory” over India during the 2025 India-Pakistan conflict.

Strong Backlash Erupts Over His Speech

The speech has sparked widespread backlash on social media. Mek has called for a ban on future visas for PPP and PML-N leaders, stating that they should not be allowed to enter the US “to spew this venom.” A user wrote, “They need to be put in jail or to be deported they are the parasites that spread hate, crime , aggression and instability in the region they are the cancer and also belongs to the cancer religion.”
