United States President Donald Trump has sparked fresh online debate over his health after a video from a Memorial Day event. The video appeared to show him swaying while standing during the ceremony. The Memorial Day ceremony was held on Monday (local time) to honour US military personnel who lost their lives in service.

Trump Appears Unsteady In Viral Clip

Trump attended the event along with senior officials and veterans, where tributes were paid to fallen soldiers. The footage, widely circulated on social media, showed Trump standing with Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. However, during the salute, Trump visibly appeared to sway slightly and wobble while standing, with flags flying in the background.

Video Sparks Debate Over Health

The clip quickly went viral and sparked discussion over his health. Many users questioned his health and fitness and suggested he looked unsteady in public. However, his supporters dismissed these claims, saying the video was being misinterpreted and that the movement was minor, which can happen due to prolonged standing.

Criticising Trump, a user wrote, “The fat fuck on the left can’t even stand still. Wait…that’s trump?” Another user added, “Dishonorable men can never give Grace to Honorable men. It is clear the walls of deception is washed. All can see.” However, this is not the first time such moments have drawn attention and sparked discussion over his health.

Earlier in April, an image of Trump standing in an unusual wide-legged posture had ignited widespread online speculation about his health and balance. Users noted his stiff stance and previous instances of limping or cautious movement. While some suggest coordination issues or supportive devices, there was no official confirmation. This followed earlier concerns about his physical and cognitive health during public appearances, including a bruised hand.

Trump Says Medical Checkup Went 'Perfectly'

Meanwhile, Trump on Tuesday said his latest annual medical checkup at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center went “perfectly”. The update comes amid increased public scrutiny over his health as he nears 80 years of age. The White House also supported his statement, sharing a photo of the president and describing his medical report as a “perfect” bill of health.
