Samsung’s first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year is just days away, but fresh leaks have already revealed major details about the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra. A social media user claims to have purchased the phone early and shared hands-on images, benchmark scores, videos, and feature demonstrations. From performance numbers and design changes to a new Privacy Display feature, the leaks offer a detailed look at what could be Samsung’s most talked-about flagship yet.
Galaxy S26 Ultra spotted on sale before launch
On X (formerly Twitter), a user named Sahil Karoul showcased the Galaxy S26 Ultra being purchased from a store in Dubai for 12,000 Dirham (around Rs. 2,97,000). This price is more than double the India launch price of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, suggesting that it might be the black market price of accessing the smartphone ahead of the launch.
Following the initial post, Karoul shared live images, benchmark screenshots, and comparisons with other flagship phones such as the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Vivo X300 Pro, and Oppo Find X9 Pro.

In a demo video, Karoul enabled the feature from settings and tilted the phone sideways. While the screen remained clear from the front, it became barely visible from side angles. A new “Maximum Privacy Protection” toggle was also spotted, though its exact functionality remains unclear.
S Pen and camera samples
In another video, Karoul confirmed that the S Pen on the Galaxy S26 Ultra continues to lack Bluetooth functionality, similar to its predecessor. He also shared multiple camera samples captured using the device, covering indoor, outdoor, and low-light scenarios.

YouTube unboxing and first impressions
Sahil Karoul in his YouTube video shared an unboxing and first impressions of the African variant of the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra with 12GB + 256GB variant. It had 24-months (2-year) warranty and it had support of dual nano-SIM.
For the design changes, key changes were the removal of the camera rings and a circular telephoto lens, slightly more rounded sides, and a shift back to Aliminium frame from Titanium. The phone features a 6.89-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X 2K display with HDR10+ support and stereo speakers.
Gaming, display and camera impressions
Sahil also did some gaming on the smartphone, and revealed that it supports PUBG for up to 120FPS, delivering smooth gameplay without any noticeable lag or heating. Although big display is good, he also said that the large size might be uncomfortable for some users. He also commented that Samsung S26 Ultra brightness, color accuracy, thin bezels, and 120Hz refresh rate are good.
Camera performance shows natural colors without heavy oversaturation. The 10x night zoom benefits from strong AI enhancement, while the 12MP front camera is described as average. Overall, the camera is considered a slight improvement over the S25 Ultra, but not class-leading.
