The Xiaomi Pad 8 will make its debut in India and global markets on February 28, as per a dedicated microsite from Xiaomi. The announcement will be made during the Xiaomi 17 series launch event that begins at 2pm in Barcelona or 6:30pm IST. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Pad 8 will be its thinnest tablet to date.

Talking about the processor, Xiaomi Pad 8 will be equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. Possibly it will ship with Android 16 under the hood of the HyperOS 3 skin.
