Spain's FIFA World Cup 2026 celebrations continued in grand fashion as thousands of supporters lined the streets of Madrid to welcome their newly crowned world champions.
Less than 24 hours after defeating Argentina 1-0 in the FIFA World Cup final at MetLife Stadium, La Roja returned home to a hero's welcome featuring an open-top bus parade, a meeting with the Spanish royal family and celebrations at the iconic Plaza de Cibeles.
Fans dressed in Spain's famous red jerseys packed the capital from early morning, waving flags, singing football chants and cheering every member of the squad as the team proudly displayed the FIFA World Cup trophy from the top of the team bus.

Videos circulating on social media captured unforgettable scenes as the Spanish squad made its way through Madrid aboard the open-top bus.
Players danced, sang with supporters, and lifted the World Cup trophy multiple times while thousands of fans created a sea of red across the city's streets.
The celebrations concluded at Plaza de Cibeles, where the squad addressed supporters and continued the festivities late into the evening.
Spain Meet the Royal Family After Returning Home
Before beginning the victory parade, Spain's players were welcomed at Zarzuela Palace by King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía. The royal family congratulated Luis de la Fuente's squad on securing Spain's second FIFA World Cup title after their historic triumph over Argentina.

The champions also met Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez before heading into Madrid for the public celebrations, marking a memorable day for Spanish football following Ferran Torres' extra-time winner in Sunday's final.
