India’s campaign at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games has reached a historic peak, surging to fourth place in the standings with 39 medals (13 gold, 17 silver, and 9 bronze).

Boxing has emerged as India's most prolific discipline with a record-shattering 10 medals, closely followed by major double-digit contributions from athletics, weightlifting, and a historic breakthrough in judo.

The golden tally grew exponentially following an unprecedented, record-breaking masterclass in the boxing ring. Powerhouse pugilists including Sachin Siwach, Ankush Panghal, Sakshi Chaudhary, Preeti Pawar, Jaismine Lamboria, Priya Ghanghas, and Arundhati Choudhary captured an incredible 7 boxing golds for the nation.

They join India's earlier historic gold champions: judokas Asmita Dey and Harsh Singh, weightlifter Mirabai Chanu, and para-athletes Sharmila Dhankar and Dilip Gavit.
