New allegations have emerged in the case of Twisha Sharma’s death, with her close friend Prachi and others making serious claims against her husband Samarth Singh and her in-laws. The case continues to draw attention as different sides present conflicting accounts about Twisha’s personal life and the circumstances leading up to her death.
Friend Claims In-Laws Hid Personal Phone
According to an NDTV report, Twisha had two mobile phones for personal and professional use. Her friend, Prachi has claimed that after Twisha’s death, her in-laws allegedly tried to withhold her personal phone from her family, while only her work phone was initially accessible. The personal phone was later traced after three to four days. Prachi added that important chats and call records were stored on that personal phone.
Prachi said, "On the day Twisha died, her work phone was with her in-laws. Her personal phone, however, was recovered only three to four days later. She kept all recordings of calls and videos safe with her so that she could use them later if needed." Prachi alleged that the phone was handed over only after police pressure increased. She also pointed to inconsistencies in the postmortem report, including a mismatch in Twisha’s recorded height. However, these claims have not been officially verified.
Friends Level Serious Allegations
Meanwhile, three of her friends, Navratan, Prerna, and Purshottam have also made serious allegations against her husband, Samarth. They alleged that he often insulted her publicly, and their relationship deteriorated after she underwent an abortion. On the other hand, Twisha’s mother-in-law, Giri Bala Singh, has raised questions about her personality, upbringing, and behaviour.
Singh claimed that Twisha underwent abortion on her own and was undergoing treatment for mental health issues. Dismissing these claims as misleading, Prachi stated that after her mother-in-law questioned her character, Twisha had retorted that the child belonged to someone else.
