TCS Nashik Case: A major development has emerged in the TCS Nashik case involving allegations of sexual exploitation, molestation, and forced religious conversion. The Nashik Sessions Court on Monday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Nida Khan, the prime accused in this matter. In its order, the court characterised the entire episode as a "premeditated and multi-faceted conspiracy." Investigating agencies have uncovered certain leads in this case that suggest the potential involvement of an international network.

What Did The Investigation Reveal?

The investigation has revealed that the victim was gradually induced to adopt specific religious practices. Attempts were made to psychologically manipulate her, encouraging her to wear a burqa and offer Namaz. She was also fed misleading information critical of the Hindu faith.

According to a Live Law report, Judge Joshi noted in the order, "The entire investigation shows that accused Nos.1 and 2, with the help of the applicant (Khan), tried to brainwash the victim and tried to teach that the Hindu religion has objectionable stories. They have also specifically made obscene remarks against Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, and Brahmadeva and hurt religious sentiments."

"The investigation also shows that the applicant gave a 'Burqa', the accused also provided a life story book of Prophet Muhammad Paigambar. The material on record shows that the applicant used to visit the victim's house to give training regarding 'Namaz' and other daily religious observations," the order added.

The Malaysia Connection

Investigations further reveal that an alleged plot was being hatched to change the victim's name and send her to Malaysia. The police have now intensified their scrutiny of digital chats, call records, and financial transactions.

Suspected Organised Network

Investigating agencies also suspect that this case is not limited to just a few individuals; rather, an organised network was operating behind the scenes. The authorities are currently investigating several local and foreign contacts linked to the case. So far, a total of nine FIRs have been registered in connection with this case. Several accused individuals have been arrested, while the interrogation of other suspects remains ongoing.

Nida Khan's Role

According to investigation, Nida Khan is alleged to be the primary coordinator of this entire network. She is accused of maintaining constant contact with the victim, involving her in religious activities, and coordinating with the other accused individuals.

In its order, the Court stated, "Custodial interrogation of Nida Khan is absolutely essential, as several crucial aspects of the investigation have yet to come to light." The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is now conducting an in-depth examination of digital forensics, bank transactions, and potential foreign connections.

Meanwhile, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has stated that it is taking strict action against the employees concerned and has pledged its full cooperation with the investigation.
