Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s video message uploaded on Instagram late Thursday night was a massive hit on social media. It drew a huge response from viewers, with the video clocking over 309 million views so far. In the video, PM Modi addressed concerns over paper leaks and the impact they have on young aspirants.

PM Modi’s Instagram Sees 1 Million Follower Jump

The video also reportedly led to an increase in PM Modi’s Instagram followers. At the time of uploading the video, PM Modi’s Instagram account had around 101 million followers, and his profile currently shows 102 million followers.

In his video message, PM Modi had called paper leaks a “serious issue” affecting lakhs of students and their families. He asserted that the government had taken several steps over the past few months to address the problem. He particularly mentioned that in two and a half months since the paper leak, the government took many steps, including the arrest of the accused.

PM Modi Releases Another Video

He added that his government's priority was to ensure that one year of 22 lakh aspirants does not go in vain and hence, in a short period of time, the exams were conducted and the results were announced. As the video generated a massive response, PM Modi shared a second video on Instagram on Friday night. In the latest video clip, he thanked "youngsters" for their positive response to his Instagram post shared last night, in which the Prime Minister announced the government's measures against paper leak issues.

Addressing the viewers, he said, “Thanks to the youngsters who watched my video yesterday and sent insightful suggestions. PM Modi added, “Thank you friends. I had the opportunity to meet you late last night. I appreciate the way you responded to my video and your positive suggestions. Thanks to everyone..."
