Ghaziabad: Stray Dogs Attack, Drag Six-Year-Old Inside Housing Society, CCTV Captures Horror

Ghaziabad Dog Attack: A six-year-old girl was attacked by a group of stray dogs inside Star Rameshwaram Society in Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The terrifying incident, recorded on the society’s CCTV camera, has since gone viral.

Stray Dogs Attack Girl, Video Surfaces

In the footage, the girl is seen inside the residential complex when a stray dog suddenly ran towards her. The dog caught hold of her dress and pulled her towards a group of other dogs. The dogs then surround the girl as she tries to escape. After a few minutes, a woman, standing nearby is seen coming to her rescue. She uses her sandals to drive the dogs away. Soon, other residents also reach the spot and help move the girl to a safe place.

Girl Taken To Hospital

According to reports, the child suffered injuries in the attack and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, residents said they have complained several times about the growing number of stray dogs in the society. They alleged that the municipal authorities have not taken proper action despite their complaints.

Patiala Dog Bite Incident

Earlier on August 13, a terrifying dog attack was reported from the Ghumman Nagar area of Punjab's Patiala district, where an unleashed Pitbull launched a ferocious, sudden attack on a visiting couple. The victims, who had arrived in the neighbourhood to view a house, were brutally mauled for nearly three minutes before residents intervened.

A CCTV video of the horrific incident had also gone viral on social media. Eyewitnesses stated that the dog first attacked the woman, causing her to fall to the ground. When the husband stepped in to save his wife, the dog attacked him as well. The sudden attack caused chaos at the scene. People from nearby houses rushed out and tried to drive the dog away. They struck Pitbull with sticks and rods. After intense efforts, they were able to separate the dog from the couple.
