Delhi-NCR Weather Update: witnessed heavy rainfall throughout the day on Friday, leading to severe waterlogging across several parts of the region. Delhi, Gurugram, Greater Noida and other parts of the National Capital Region saw spells of rain that disrupted traffic movement and slowed down the daily commute. As the monsoon trough and a low-pressure system continue to influence the weather in the region, some parts experienced a light spell of rainfall during the early morning hours on Saturday as well.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, more rain is likely across Delhi-NCR over the weekend. Delhi is likely to see rain from the early morning through noon, followed by another spell in the evening or night, while other NCR cities are expected to receive one or two spells of rain. Here is the detailed weather forecast for Delhi-NCR for today.

Delhi

Delhi recorded moderate rain at most places and heavy rain at some locations during the past 24 hours, bringing temperatures down and causing waterlogging in several areas. The minimum temperature is currently in the 23-26 degrees Celsius range, while the maximum temperature remains around 27 degrees Celsius.

For Saturday, Delhi is expected to have a generally cloudy sky, with a spell of very light to light rain at many places and moderate rain at isolated places from early morning to noon. Another spell of very light to light rain is likely at many places during the evening and night. The IMD has issued an orange alert and a red alert for some parts of Delhi today.

Noida

Noida is expected to see partly cloudy skies with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers on Saturday. The temperature is currently around 28 degrees Celsius, with the maximum expected to reach 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum to remain around 28 degrees Celsius. Noida has not been placed under any specific alert so far.

Gurugram

Gurugram is among the areas facing the greatest weather-related concern. The city experienced severe waterlogging across key sectors after yesterday’s rainfall. It has been placed under a red alert as of now. The city is likely to experience partly cloudy skies with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers today.

Giurgaon

Faridabad

Faridabad has also been placed under a red alert, with the forecast indicating partly cloudy skies and one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The minimum temperature is expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius, while the maximum may reach 34 degrees Celsius.

Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad is forecast to experience partly cloudy skies with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The minimum temperature is likely to be around 26 degrees Celsius, while the maximum may touch 35 degrees Celsius.
