CJP Calls Pradhan’s Resignation A Victory
Earlier in the day, the CJP welcomed Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, calling it a victory for students and their month-long protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. CJP leaders said their demonstrations and demand for accountability had resulted in a major development. However, the party said the protest would continue until its remaining demands are addressed, including compensation for families of students who died by suicide and action against police personnel over alleged force used during protests.
