From gripping crime dramas to light-hearted comfort watches, viewers will have plenty to binge on Netflix, Prime Video, SonyLIV and others. Popular titles like The Family Man Season 4, Panchayat Season 5, Farzi Season 2, Mismatched Season 4, Matka King Season 2, The Royals Season 2 and Gullak are all set to return with fresh stories and fan-favourite characters.

These upcoming Indian OTT series promise something for every type of viewer, whether it's the excitement of criminal sagas, slice-of-life narrative, or romantic drama. Here are some of the most anticipated Indian web series that are expected to premiere in 2026 and should be on your watch list.

Panchayat Season 5 (Prime Video)

Panchayat season 5 will carry on the Phulera saga after the village election turmoil in Season 4. It will reset the power dynamics around the panchayat and bring Sachivji (Jitendra Kumar) back into local politics, loyalties, and everyday issues that suddenly have enormous ramifications. Neena Gupta (Manju Devi) and Raghubir Yadav (Pradhanji) are up front in the returning cast. 

Gullak Season 5 (SonyLIV)

The show chronicles the Mishra family's daily activities in a tiny Indian hamlet. Santosh Mishra, his wife Shanti, and their sons Annu and Aman are at the center of the narrative. Gullak's distinctive narration style, which tells the tale in the voice of the family's piggy bank and lends the series a sentimental and sentimental quality, is what sets it apart. Sony LIV will be able to view Gullak Season 5. Although the new season was formally announced by the platform, the precise release date has not yet been disclosed.

Farzi Season 2 (Prime Video)

Farzi Season 2 is scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime Video in late 2026 or early 2027. Production has already begun. Fans are eager to see Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, and Kay Kay Menon engage in a fierce confrontation after Season 1 concluded on a suspenseful note.

Mismatched Season 4 (Netflix)

 

Mismatched will return for a fourth and final season, according to an official announcement from Netflix. It has been confirmed that actors Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf would play Dimple Ahuja and Rishi Singh Shekhawat again. The love tale between Dimple and Rishi will come to an end in the next part. The final season is anticipated to broadcast at some point in 2026, however a precise release date has not yet been determined.

Matka King Season 2

The high-stakes drama, which was set against the rapidly evolving background of Bombay in the 1960s, captivated viewers with its intriguing story of ambition, power, and identity. It was brought to life with powerful performances and engaging storytelling. The Royal Season 2 (Netflix)

Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar will return to the made-up city of Morpur, where passion, ambition, and second chances are set against the backdrop of a dilapidated palace that has been transformed into an opulent B&B. Given the scope of season 1, Rangita and Ishita Pritish Nandy's pledge that season 2 will be bigger, bolder, and even more spectacular is noteworthy. But according to rumours, Bhumi, who encountered criticism during the first season, has left the Netflix series.

The Family Man Season 4 (Prime Video)

After a protracted absence, middle-class Chennai father Srikant Tiwari returned in November 2025 as an elite intelligence officer capable of defusing a national security crisis but unable to resolve his own marriage. Lead actor Manoj Bajpayee has said that The Family Man Season 4 will directly address and settle the major cliffhangers left at the end of Season 3.
