House of the Dragon Season 3 is finally making its way on OTT. Inspired by Fire & Blood by George R. R. Martin, the series has dropped a new trailer while also announcing its release date. The upcoming season stars Emma D'Arcy, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Fabien Frankel, Rhys Ifans and Steve Toussaint, as the fierce battle among the Targaryens for control of the Iron Throne continues to escalate.

House of the Dragon Season 3 will premiere internationally on HBO on June 21. It will be released in India on JioHotstar a day later.

The trailer teases a massive escalation in the Targaryen civil war. Footage hints at a large-scale naval clash involving House Velaryon's fleet and the blockade of King's Landing. The teaser shows Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) taking control of the Iron Throne, declaring, "There will be no doubt who the gods have chosen to rule". Not only this, high-intensity sequences feature dragons like Vhagar and Syrax, with fans noting significantly sharper visual effects for the creatures.

House of the Dragon Season 3 (premiering June 2026) will feature the escalation of the Dance of the Dragons into full-scale war, focusing on major battles like the Battle of the Gullet and the Butcher's Ball.
